Sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) is a life-threatening emergency that can strike anyone, anywhere, at any time. Often there are no warning signs before SCA strikes. The best chance for a victim’s survival is trained personnel responding with an automated external defibrillator (AED), which delivers a life-saving shock to restore normal heart rhythm. With rapid access to early CPR and AED treatment, the survival rates can reach 80%. Recognizing the need to make AEDs more accessible, our One Eleven’s AED Rental Program aims to empower all productions and performing arts organizations to play an active role in saving lives within our community.

RENTAL PROGRAM OVERVIEW **Rental Options:** Productions can choose from various rental plans to suit their needs, including daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly options. This flexibility ensures that productions, performing arts organizations and event organizers can access AEDs for specific worksites, events or as a long-term safety measure. **Training and Support:** To ensure the effective use of rented AEDs, we provide comprehensive training sessions on CPR and AED usage. Participants will learn how to recognize SCA, administer CPR, and properly operate the AED. Support materials, including instructional videos and user manuals, are also provided. **Maintenance and Monitoring:** Regular maintenance and checks are crucial for ensuring the reliability of AEDs. Our program includes maintenance services to ensure that the rented AEDs are in optimal working condition. Additionally, AEDs equipped with smart monitoring technology can alert us in case of any malfunctions, ensuring prompt replacements if needed.

In a cardiac arrest incident, an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) can make the difference between life and death. But having one on-site isn’t enough, regular inspections and maintenance is vital to ensure your AED is ready to go when it’s needed.

MAINTENANCE PROGRAM OVERVIEW Included in our Maintenance program: ๏ Record keeping: Tracking of: • AED’s life span • battery and electrode expiration dates, and • training of workers. ๏ Inspection program: Carried out in-person by our safety advisors once per calendar month for each AED, including brackets and alarmed cabinets. ๏ Monthly Reports: Receive monthly email reports of your AEDs status and inspections so you stay compliant with local regulations ๏ Service Loaner: Provides a loaner AED if your unit requires servicing or has been deployed. ๏ Free Battery Replacement: One free battery and electrode pad replacement per unit over 5-year agreement, including on-site installation. ๏ Worker Training: Annual on-site session including basic CPR to re-orient your current workers and train new workers on the use of AEDs at production centres. ๏ Post Event Support: Retrieval of unit, download and prepare incident reports, clear device memory, ensure proper working condition and battery levels and return unit to worksite.
